went out for more charity work with thomas today. haha really opened up my eyes! imagine how tight the pockets of the average singaporean can be. could say i was really surprised, all the well-dressed businessmen all rejected to offer to donate. i'm not one to judge, but its just the irony i cant stand. the unfortunate understands the unfortunate better!
and which is why i pledge to become a philanthrophist in future. if i spelled it correctly, rejoice! if you're not availabe for charity work, $$ is the way to say you're sincere. and yes only applicable in the pragmatic world of our five senses.
my mum says marketing doesnt run well in my family, and that i should consider other career options : O but i cant help but feel the satisfaction thomas gets from getting his pitch successfully to other people. he's a great mentor but im a lousy mentee.
on a postive note, child syndromes can be cured! be it dyslexia, OCD, ADD, tourette's or down syndrome, they do not really manifest themselves when individuals reach adulthood. so let's make the society a better place for these unfortunate children to integrate to!
